Too bitter and too sweet!

I ordered this cake for my birthday. Unfortunately, we couldn't eat it. It tasted too sweet and bitter. The was no lemon flavour. Perhaps the excessive use of sweeteners let it get lost. The cream in the middle was too thick and hard. We consumed it directly from the fridge. Perhaps that was the reason for hardness. I checked to see if there was any instruction on how to consume it but didn't see any notes. Overall we couldn't eat it. Very disappointed.
