This is a delightful , moist, flavourful cake. Lovely to eat but sadly gone too quickly . Expensive too. Have bought panda flour to make my own.
Whilst I can totally see why others might find this expensive for the size, and maybe it is, but I for one could never replicate this and buying all the ingredients and failures, I suspect i am far better off here.
This is just lovely. Tastes like a moist bakewell and even my daughter, who is a baker, and not on any kind of diet, thought it was fab.
I am not a massive sweet eater so cutting this up into smaller portions works well for me as it satisfies the craving without wasting anything. Hence I keep buying it.
Lovely cake but far too small for the cost.
Quite a course texture, not a fine almond flour used.
1/4 of a slab is more than enough to eat in one go
It’s not a large slab so don’t get too excited.
I preferred this cold out of the fridge as it was more like marzipan then.
My favourite so far, such a lovely cake and a generous slice if portioned into 4.
